I suppose this counts as a rookie mistake, but the starboard stern access panel blew off when I trailered my 150 Montauk for the first time. I had pried it off to wash all around and apparently didn't get it fully back on. It seems to me it is always at risk of flying off and should be tethered underneath. This is the disc-shaped cover about 8" in diameter.
Is this a common problem or do I just need to pound it on.

I did anticipate some problems, so removed the cooler/seat, RPS cushion, and bilge cover before starting out.
