Member Personal Page Posts: 198 Comments: 0 Joined: 11/03/07	My experience has been also that these pins are brass without a chrome surface, however, you may have encountered an exception to the rule. You could do one of the following: 1) Call a dealer and purchase a replacement. This will most likely be a brass item. 2) Take your pin, put it in the chuck of your bench motor or hand drill and spin it up and sand it. This is easy to do and it really gives a touch of class look to that bow area. 3) Send out what you have to be rechromed. Suggest that you at least look at your pin after sanding and polishing it. Since this needs to be done anyway to rechrome it, you've got nothing to lose. Hey, if you like it, the job cost you nothing but elbow grease. Good Luck, Grady
