My Outrage 25 has twin Yamaha 200s on it. Since I've owned it the starboard side motor always settles to were it is not in line with the other motor ( witch stays put like it should ) Not that big of a deal I just always ajust the motor on the fly as needed. I just wanted to make sure the fix may not be something stupid that I've ignored all this time. The trim unit is full with fluid. The motors are the originals ( 20 years old) so I'm not complaining. Just wanted to make sure I was'nt overlooking anything. Other than buying a new trim unit, what do you think?
Brady,
It sounds like it is bleeding down as you go. This may not be what you want to do but I read, maybe on this site, about a product that Lucas makes to seal the hydraulic system. One guy swore by it. He claimed that his leaked down and leaked out and the Lucas sealed it up tight and had been working fine for over a season.
