I thought I would update everyone on the motor. (Merc 4 stroke efi 90hp)
To summarize: It's amazing.
I was concerned about the 4 stroke being too heavy. It didn't make much of a difference at all. We went out on Saturday and Sunday.
We were fully loaded. 4 people, lot's of fuel (12 gallons for the boat and a cooler for the people), and various gear. I estimate that I was hauling 1,100 lbs. We hit 42 on the GPS at 5,800 rpm. I don't know the diameter of the prop, but it's a 19 pitch Mercury aluminum.
The hole shot is fast, the boat planes fast, and I only used 8 gallons of gas to cruise and play for 2 days.

Just plain pretty, the suttle Mercury graphics are a great match for the old boat which appears to be a new old boat! Great job Doc ! It's good to see the snowblower removed!
