Replacement light socket

Member Personal Page Project Albums Posts: 2975 Comments: 3 Joined: 11/04/05	I picked up a bow light for the 13, in ok condition. I expected to have to rechrome the light and was not disappointed. I also have to replace the socket since the old one is very rusted and plastic and not sure I can repair it. Anyone know of a replacement socket that will fit. The inside diameter of the opening is 1/4 of an inch and the length for the plastic fixture is 9/16th of an inch. I have posted photo's on my personal page. Should I manage to repair/replace the socket, how does this version get installed? I am going to guess that one drills holes up thru the bow to run the bolts, sealing all with caulk? Thanks
