Steering Wheel Emblem

Member Personal Page Posts: 28 Comments: 0 Joined: 04/18/08	I have a 1963 Whaler and I am looking for a steering wheel emblem. It is the 6 spoke Destroyer style wheel and it has a 2" hole where the emblem fits. Any ideas? Should I just take a piece of mahogany and cut to fit?

Member Personal Page Posts: 4280 Comments: 7 Joined: 09/30/05	A 1963 Whaler did not have a stainless steel steering wheel originally. If you have one, somebody added it years later. No Whaler "destroyer" wheel had any emblem until the 1990s. You can probably get a Whaler logo steering wheel center cap from any Whaler dealer. Personally, I like the teak center caps.
