I need to replace the black closed cell foam strip that runs along the base of the window in my 2000 23' conquest. The strip inserts into the aluminium frame extrusion and covers the holes that screw the frame to the deck. The strip runs the whole way round the windscreen with breaks where the window joins are at the two corners and front middle.
The strip dimensions are:
US measurements appear to be:
1-1/8” x ½” (maybe just over 7/16”?) [need about 20 feet for all sides]
Or in metric:
30 mm x 14 mm [need about 6 metres for all sides]
I tried Taylor Made but they have just sent me the strip from the later Boston Whaler, which is an extruded vinyl strip with a flat top hollow triangle type cross section about 10mm wide - EVEN THOUGH I SENT THREE EMAILS EXPLAINING EXACTLY WHAT I WAS AFTER
Anybody help?

While some may know exactly what you are referring to, can you post a photo?

Are you sure you want to keep the foam? I thought mine was crap. It doesn't weather well and certainly doesn't keep water out.
I replaced mine with the extruded vinyl (from TM). I have a contact there also, if you need one.

Please find attached photo of foam.
It's a black solid high density closed cell foam and fits into a gap at the very bottom of the window frame. It's purpose is basically to cover the screws that screw the frame to the cockpit.
Sizes as per original post.
I'm happy to replace with vinyl if I can get something that fits.
Happy for anybody to contact TM and get a part number!
Thanks...

Latest update:
Taylor Made has now replied that they do not know the part number or supplier. Not bad going for a boat that was only discontinued only 6 years ago!
So bavk to whalercentral for the members to help me....
