I would like to replace the white rubrail on my 64 Sakonnet.
Is their a source and part number for replacement?
Any advice?
Do you use a bedding compound to secure it?
Thanks
I have found a source for the original white rebrail for 64 vintage rubrails. CMI Marine manufactured them for the specail anniverary 13 footer the Whaler has put out. The cost for a 16 footer is $210.00.
Twin Cities marine has a 3 piece rub rail that they are selling. White with a black insert. about 150.00. I have seen pictures on a classic and it looks quite good.
