Member Personal Page Posts: 4280 Comments: 7 Joined: 09/30/05	The cooler cleats are screwed to the deck, three screws per cleat. The cooler sits on top of the cleats and is held down with bungee cord loops built into the cleats.

Member Personal Page Posts: 4280 Comments: 7 Joined: 09/30/05	Tom, There are cooler cleats for the Outrage which are different than the cooler cleats for the Montauks. However, you can use Montauk cooler cleats in an Outrage with no trouble and you will have the added benefit of raising your cooler a bit and allowing water to drain freely underneath the cooler. You will also be less likely to stub your toes on the cleats. Not sure if Whaler still offers either sets of cooler cleats though there are guys who can make them for you. It is a simple project.
