I recently began to convert a somewhat 'rough-around-the-edges' Revenge into a center console (it's not as difficult as many people have suggested). One snag, however, I am having is deciding how to remount the bow pulpit that is made of fiberglass. The original mounting was done via 5 through bolts, two went through the flare on the hull itself (one port, one starboard), and three went through the cabin top above the anchor locker.....These latter three are no longer available for use due to my having removed the top of the cuddy.
Does anybody have any suggestions as how to remount the pulpit solidly and securely? Aside from this and a few other minor issues, the conversion is going smoothly and I expect to have a pretty functional, almost new looking fishing rig in the next few weeks. Thanks!
