Decal application

Member Personal Page Posts: 270 Comments: 0 Joined: 11/20/07	I just did new Gelcoat on the sides of my whaler and ordered the decals from magic brush. My question is... Is it better to wax the boat prior to decal application or is it better to apply the decals direct to the gelcoat and wax after application?

You want the surface to be as oil, wax and debris free before applying the decals. Oh, BTW, the Whaler decals from magic brush look GREAT. I have them on my whaler and couldn't be happier with them.
