I was repairing the light fixture on my bow light over the weekend and I removed it to look at the wires and when I took out the through hull bolts for the bow light I realized they were both bent. Are these standard bolts that I can get a replacement for? Anyone know the size or description to use to find one? Anyone know where to buy them?
Thanks for your help!

I'm pretty sure Sue at Twin Cities marine can find them, I had asked her about them several months ago and she had them in stock.

I used 4" 5/16 thread with the hex type head as a temporary solution for my bow light through bolts. I would rather have a phillips type head for ease of tighteing. Thanks for the infor Scott, I will call Sue today to get some bolts. The local hardware stores nearby do not carry what I need.

I just replaced one on my Montauk. They are 5/16 thread machine screws and are 2 1/2" long. Everyone seemed to have either the 2" or the 3" screw, but not the 2 1/2". I ended up buying a 3" and cutting it down to 2 1/2". If you go this route, be sure to put a nut on first. That way, when you take it off, it will re-align any threads that may have been bent in the cutting process. My replacement looks the same as the original and only cost $1.30.
