Needing boat delivered

Member Posts: 1 Comments: 0 Joined: 03/01/08	Does anyone have experience with having a boat delivered? I am looking into having my uncle's 13 (plus trailer) shipped from Ohio to Florida. Any experience with this? Vendors or sources that you could recommend? Approximate cost? At the time the price was about a $1.50 a mile but I got a company that needed a back haul. The price today has risen due to fuel prices obviously. For me, it is no longer worth having a boat shipped unless it is a multi-million dollar yacht. (I wish) If you are buying from a dealer, check with them. If not, check with a dealer close by as they should know the haulers.
