I would like to know if anyone has used a longer steering cable length then the
standard Teleflex 12 foot cable listed for a 1981 Newport.
The boat came with the steering cable routed down the starboard side into the shelf
on the gunal to the stern. Or is it routed down the middle thru the tunnel.
