Hi, I am getting ready to redo my 1970 13' sport and was hoping someone might be able to point me in the right direction to find replacement (OEM if possible) stern lifiting eyes and also the front bow/lifting eye.

They seem to have any eye on the outside and inside of the boat as well which i guess means that the inside is female threaded and screws down to the bolt that comes through the hull.

I hope this make sense and thank in advance for any suggestions,

fish

Does your boat currently have these parts - if so some guys have been having them replated. Thats what I am going to do with mine shortly. There are a couple threads about that around here. Not sure if OEM is still avail -maybe someone else can chime in on that.

fish,

Take a look through all the OEM Parts Photos and you will see many photos with part numbers that might help you.

Take a look at this:

The above parts are the same for the majority of Classic Whalers in all sizes.

I guess you can't replate what you don't have......Grin Good luck in your search. Keep an eye on ebay too things pop up there from time to time.

Fish,

What exactly do you need?
How Heads?
How many Nut ends?
The threaded rods are available but you might have to cut them.
The Heads are still available but cost $50 from Whaler.
The Nuts have changed as they are the newer style and are available if you want to go to the newer style.

Most models take 3 of each.
Let us know how many of which you are looking for.
I have one Head that needs re-chromed that I might part with.

I'm about half way thru restoring a 1962 13.I purchased new stern and bow lifting eyes and rings. They are tied together with stainless rods.I purchased them from Sue at Twin Cities Marine. They weren't cheap but very high quality and they look great on the boat.Contact Sue and she will e-mail you pictures of the styles avaliable.

I liked them so much I bought them for my son's 1972 13
