Member Posts: 2 Comments: 0 Joined: 02/04/08	Hey Everyone, I am VERY glad I found your website. I am about to purchase an old (1964) Whaler. From the photo's I have seen, its in poor shape. There is exposed foam on the bow etc. I am hoping to see it in person in the next week or so. The person selling it is not actively TRYING to sell it due to the condition of it. What else should I look for, as far as damage is concerned? This is a major project boat. I am hoping to take it from its current condition to Classic Beauty in about a year or so. I guess you could call it reclaiming my youth. Two things I always wanted in my life are, a Boston Whaler and a 1979 911SC. Well, the 911 SC is going to have to wait. Any input, help and assistance would be GREATLY appreciated. I look forward to hearing from you all, and getting to know you. Thanks for letting me be a part of your website.

About 1 ticket a week...... Haven't had a ticket since I sold the Porsche's around 1980....

I did get a bit of a chuckle out of your Porsche pictures. I too used to own a 914 and also a 356 (wish I still owned the 356) BUT always wanted a 911 SC. But as I get a bit older and the need for speed is not nearly as important to me as FRESH AIR and being on the water, that dream is fading into the sunset. BUT the Whaler dream is not. Good thing about wanting to own a Whaler is, even my wife loves this idea. Although she thought my golfing habit was expensive...hehe.. Thanks for your advice and input.
