Most people aren't there to say their motors are good, they are reporting problems and looking for advice. It's like visiting a hospital. There are only sick people in a hospital. I know thats early but have heard many folks with a lot less with a lot more problems. Like my buddy with his 2006 225 Optimax that just fired a piston in the power head and Mecury replaced the head, but didn't pay the labor. Cost my bud about a thousand. And i might add, he has a 21 or 22 triton, and he said he was cruising (he's a semi-pro fisher guy) full blast when the same boat blew by him with a 225 ETEC on it. nough said Duf Edited by Joe Kriz on 01/30/08 - 4:34 PM
