Hello,
I'm in a bind- it is Saturday afternoon (Jan 12) and I just got into CT with a BORROWED trailer to pick up my 17' Whaler project. After driving 3 hours from New Jersey, some jerk cut me off at an intersection and caused me to swerve right, hooking a telephone pole with the trailer's fender. It sheared the leaf spring mount welds right off the trailer and I'm stuck in a bad way. Any chance some one in the Danbury CT area can weld (or know someone who can)? I'm willing to make it more than worth your while. I need a quick turn around as I need to head back south tomorrow. Thanks!
Jeff
Thanks to Pete for all his efforts helping me out yesterday. I'm back in NJ without the trailer but I am fairly confident that I'll have the trailer fixed and home (with the project hull) by this weekend! Just another delay getting started. Thanks again Pete- it's people like you who make boating fun.
Sorry I could not be more help.
Good luck with the new boat. Dig in and and put it together. I'll see you in Jersey City. I trailer there and Great Kills SI to go fishing.
Pete
