Within the next month or so I'm going to purchase a larger 26 Moeller tank for my Montauk. I would like to paint in white, the red tanks stick out like a sore thumb. Has anyone had any experience using krylon fusion on Moeller or any other cross-linked polyethylene tanks?
The paint works great until you start spilling fuel on it. Then it will start to release just like any standard paint. I spoke with a guy at my mechanic's shop who tried it with black paint on his duck hunting boat.
