Hi All,
Happy Holidays!
Just a quick note to everyone. I have just gotten the first photos of the 13 Sport version of the 50th Anniversary Edition special model.
I'm trying to download a picture, but will have to use another thread as there seems to be a bit of trouble with the photo. I'll keep trying!
WOW, I love it!
Great looking little boat.
Questions? drop me a line!
Dave Ashley

Dave,
You may need to rename and or resize the files. Make sure there are no spaces, dashes, question marks, slashes, etc in the name. Also the images need to be under a 97kb size. Typically 640x480 at 72 dpi.

Example

Dave, do you have a connection or are you a employee of Whaler?

This may be a crazy question... but I've no idea. I certinally am not in the market, just wondering.

Can you get that hull with a wooden console thwart seats etc? I think she looks great but a little wood would just top 'er off.

I think it looks good, wood would be nice but at least make the existing console and seats white. Just my .02 and I give Whaler credit for at least coming out with more than stickers for a 50th anniv model. Hope they sell a ton of them

Looks like BW is heading back towards the old original color schemes. I agree that it would be a kick ass boat with some wood top it off

I to think it needs at least some tie back to the heritage of Whalers past beyond just a blue interior. After all if it were not for the other whalers that paved the road for this hull whaler might not be here today.

That looks great! I also agree with the wood touches...possibly as an option? Since learning so much from this site the past 4 months, I often asked myself if Whaler would ever consider offering the blue interior in some Sport or Montauk models. Now I know! What a coinkydink! I bet (and hope!) they will be backordered for months. Maybe the Montauk 17 will be next !! Paul

You need the wider console from the `98 40th anniv. boat

I think if you built a mahogany interior and seats but used a design similar to the 2008 design,(console on top of seat) it would look even better and simpler and would blend in better with the lines of the hull.

I would expect BW to be giving you a call any day to go to work in their Art Dept. You did quite a job on the wood retouch

"WOOD" ! Whaler's need some "WOOD" ! It's that "New England" boat builders's touch that gives the "Whaler's" that splash of "CLASS" ! hence making them a "CLASSIC" Whaler !
