HIN Replacement for 1981 13'

Member Posts: 2 Comments: 0 Joined: 05/28/24	Hi I have a 1981 13' that needs a new HIN. Mine was holding on by one rivet so I pulled it off so I would not loose it. It's hard to read and corroded but I was able to get a good photo of it. Its is 3076 81H. So I need Magic Brush to stamp a new one. First question: Should I get the same digits printed out or get the new plate to match the NJ Registration. Next question: The NJ reg lists the boat as a 1978. So somewhere along the way it was changed. How big a deal is this. Should I try and get it switched to 1981. Next question: How do I re-rivet it onto the transom. Any tips will be appreciated.
