For sale: 1996 Boston Whaler Outrage Center Console. I’ve been looking to buy a new or used main motor, repower, but an opportunity came up to partner in another boat. I purchased the BW on 4/5/18 and completed many upgrades. I have all the receipts for the upgrades, maintenance, and manuals.
NOTE: The price reflects the main motor needs a new powerhead or new motor. You can sell it for parts. It still runs.
7/8/23: Cals Marine
Main motor: 200 hp Mercury Optimax direct injection 2 stroke (868 hrs)
• Drained gear lube and large amounts of metallic particles in lube
• Performed leak down test on cylinders to evaluate powerhead condition.
• Compression test showed high numbers in the starboard bank:
1. 18-22%
2. 4%
3. 12%
4. 5%
5. 14%
6. 11%
Kicker: 15 HP Mercury Pro Kicker (electric start, tilt, trim)
• Replaced fuel hoses and rusty clamps.
• Replaced engine oil and filter.
• Replaced fuel filter.
All maintenance and upgrades were done by Cals Marine and Auburn Outboard since 2018. I have all the receipts. This is a well-maintained fishing boat. It comes with the Mercury Pro Kicker that runs great.
A few of the upgrades: Interstate batteries (04/2022), washdown pump, installed dual OEM Mercury binnacle to control kicker and main motor at the helm, new bunks and brackets, bearing buddies, hub, rotors, and pads (2020), brake line kit, 3,500 lb brake kit, actuator, and solenoid (2018 – Pac West Trailer), Seastar tilt helm classic (2018), new LED lighting, VHF radio and antenna, Scotty downrigger power and mounting plates on rails, sending unit (2018), new throttle cables to name a few.
Electronics: Lowrance HDS 9 with structure scan and 3G radar
Trailer: Loadmaster dual axel with electric brakes
Comes with the following:
2 docking fenders, 3 auto / manual inflatable life jackets, boat cover, 30 gallons (?) live well, tea bag storage under t-top, anchor, earmuffs for motors, bow rail rod holders, 6 rocket launch rod holders, tackle storage, large net, and Scotty crab pot puller.
