Member Posts: 3 Comments: 0 Joined: 01/07/07	i bought one spring of '07. like the reply b4, the cap will not clear the seat. the cap seems to leak a little gas when full tank. had them send me a new cap and it has the same problem. i made it so i can lift my seat to get to the cap, pretty big job to do this.

No leaks on on my gas cap yet. this is model i purchased last year for $120.00, but they sure have gone up, shop around. https://www.surplusunlimited.com/storefront.htm Good luck.

Member Posts: 69 Comments: 1 Joined: 04/22/05	I ended up purchasing a few years ago a 20 gallon Moeller fuel tank for my 1989 Newtauk...I decided it was far easier for me to put a hinge on the base of the RPS to make re-fueling much easier...no need to slide the tank...just flip it up... I have a picture of it someplace...when I find it, I'll post it... DaveS
