Hi all, hoping to tap into the collective for suggestions. I'm repowering a 1963 13' whaler, short transom. I've been hunting for a 25hp/4 stroke, running across some in this range that are pull start/tiller control, no power tilt and wondering (with the cost of new units and all) if the conversion to Electric Start/Remote steer and power tilt is worth the effort, say on a 201X model range Honda?

Off the bat, it looks as if the conversion parts may run into the $1,000 range, just wondering if others have done this recently and can add any input on the conversion costs vs paying more for a motor already configured as such..

Thanks.

Jason
