Hello all, new here and looking for advice. I have decided to restore a 1966 Montauk 16 and will certainly have many questions for you all. The boat has been severely abused and needs to be striped and pretty much starting from scratch. Here are two questions to start with.
1. Where can I get replacement for the captains chair and the rear seat? Both are missing and it appears Specialty Marine doesn't make them anymore.?
2. Going to be using the TotalBoat system to refinish and I was looking everything over. How did you all work around the screws that run around the edge of the deck (screws about 1" apart)?
