I am aware that the scarlet red rub rail that went with the Newports is no longer manufactured unless done through a mass order, but my rub rail is only cracked in one spot and I think it can be saved. What type of adhesive would be recommended for a permanent repair? I don't want to adhere the rail to the white channel, just repair the crack in the rail.
Also, is there a specific color that the Newport used for the channel? Or even better yet, can someone direct me to a matching replacement channel of the correct OEM color. I know shipping and manufacturing is sort of on hold at the moment, but any help would be greatly appreciated. Just don't want to buy the wrong one.
