Thanks to all for the valuable info from this site. I am ready to purchase a 2007 130 sport. Is the aft drain hole in the exact same position for both the 2007 and 2008 model? Ive heard that there may be problems with the 2007 drain hole being blocked by an engine plate resulting in self draining problems, therefore BW changed the position. My dealer says no problems have been reported. Im calling BW this week
But curious if any of you have any info, Thanks, Chuck
Evening,.
AS an owner of 1966 13' and went looking to upgrade a 2006in Oakland,CA I was told I missed the season closeouts so I bought the 2008 Anny model 130 Sport and it has the offset drain plug that is not restricted by teh hydralics on teh 4 stroke Merc 40 HP on the 2006/07 I hav e e fellow 2007 sport owner here in Modesto,ca and he was not happy when he saw mine on the trailer in Lake McSwain .
No reports except a wedge to allow slow draing.
Thank for the info. I called BW this morning and they said that the drain was moved for the 2008 model and that the older models required an after market plate added to allow a space between engine and transom for drainage.
