Anyone running a Yamaha 4 stroke F90 on a Nauset, Eastport or Sakonnet? If so, any issues that came up? Almost ready to splash mine.

How did you rig the F90 on the 1967 Nauset? How many holes up? What propeller are you running? I suspect you will experience porpoising the heavy weight of the F90.

I believe it's 2 holes up no prop brand new. I have two batteries and a SS 27 gal fuel tank under the console Also have the RPS seat.

Those are two good articles to digest that Joe posted. Pick up one of the props Phil recommended. Go out and do a test run. You may want to go to "three holes up" with the F90. You also will discover quickly that you will never need a 27 gallon fuel capacity onboard given the F90's fuel efficiency. Please report back to us with performance date. The more details the better.

it's actually one hole up rt now. Also looking for the best prop for this. It's a 2020 Yamaha F90 2.15:1 gear ratio and has a 6000 RPM redline

My boat guy took it out today with a 13 x 15 SS with one hole up. ran 5200 to 5300 with little trim available. No porpoising. Go two holes up with a 18 or 19 pitch?
