Hello! I’m looking for opinions on reliability/performance of the Mercruiser V8 260 hp IO they put in the BW GTX’s back in the day. I don’t know much about these motors....hoping someone out there could tell me a bit about them. However shallow or deep the reply is OK with me...something is better than nothing. Appreciate your time!
Great engines. It is a 350CID small block chevy that has been marinized. Usually connected to a Mercruiser Alpha 1 drive. Very reliable and cheap to fix or replace. What year and fresh or salt water use?
