What is on it now and what rpms are you seeing at wide open, fully trimmed? What is redline?

What is the engine's mounting height?

Counting down from the top, in which hole is the top bolt?

23p is way too much. You did not answer my question however...what rpm are you running WOT throttle? Redline is 5600. You state all the way trimmed down...why? You need to trim all the way up unitl it slips, then tap it down until it grabs. I'm thinking around a 17" pitch. A 23 would be a major dog out of the hole and redline in the 4k range.

I’m going to take the boat out this weekend and pay alittle more attention . Wouldn’t a 17p kill the top end ? I think running with wot with it bumped up 3 times it’s at 5200 but I’ll make sure this weekend

Trim it up until it slips, then bump it down until it grabs.

As Biggle says.

Accelerate to a certain rpm, say 4500.

Trim out and watch the rpm's rise without you changing the throttle.

Note the speed on the GPS display increase.

Note the bow will lower.

As you continue to trim out, the speed will stop increasing. At the point it does, bump the trim inward a few times and there you are.

Accelerate till throttle is at the stops. What is WOT rpm and GPS speed?
