Hello, I'm new to the BW community. Just picked up a 2001 Dauntless 22'. I've got the Mercury 200 Optimax OB. It's been running fine for two days. Today, I started the motor and got 4 audible beeps (tone) and this repeated every 3 minutes while the motor was running. Went out for a ride this morning and the alarm kept going off. I can't seem to find what this alarm is indicating in the owners manual or the forums. Oil reserve tank is full, motor is not overheating or acting up. Has anyone else had this issue? Any ideas?
(corrected to proper name of Dauntless 22')

The warning codes are not included in the documentation or on the Mercury site.
Common issue.
In doing a google search for Optimax 4 beeps I get dozens of hits. Oil tank sensor, switch, water separator or loose oil tank cap are the 4 possibilities.
