Firstly - are there any other members from the UK on this site?
I purchased my first whaler back in May this year, a 1988 (?) whaler 15 Sport with a Mercury 50hp outboard. She's named 'One Day' which is very apt - my wife always used to say to me one day we will have a boat! so, when we saw her in the boat yard in Devon we just had to buy her.
she's in excellent condition and gave us loads of fun this summer, with many more to come.
The look on my kids face when I got home with her was something to treasure - followed a close second by eating freshly caught mackerel after our first fishing trip on her
Welcome to this site. I am just acrossed the North Sea in Holland, and every other 3 weeks in the UK. Once the Whaler virus got you, you never get rid of it any more.
I have had many differend models and still have a 17 Outrage 1 and a 210 Outrage.
The 15 is a very good boat and easey to trailer. Hope am sure you will have a lot of fun.
