I just repowered my whaler and put on a 2015 Mercury 150 and was looking for prop information. Please let me know what would be recommended i'm thinking an ENERTIA 14.25 X 19 Any information would be greatly appreciated .

(corrected to proper name of Outrage 18' for clarification)

The owner tested and recommended props for the Outrage 18/Mercury 150 Fourstroke include:

14" x 19" Mercury Enertia / Quicksilver Q3
14-1/4" x 19" Turbo 1

For engine height, I would mount the engine at 2 holes up to start. Review this article:

I just repowered my 18' with a Yamaha 150 and used the following prop

Reliance 14 1/4 x 17R

Love it.

She clocked 52 mph trimmed with a full tank and just myself on board.

Please note the two engines have different gear ratios (1.92 vs 2.00) so the prop recommendations are not the same between engines.

This is why the specific engine information is necessary to give prop recommendations.

Swen - I will add your recommendation to my list.

52 with a 17p is pretty impressive are they underrated and more like a 19p which sounds about right.
