If you go to Marinepartdepot.com you will find a site that appears to have Boston Whaler parts on close out cheap.
If you go to Resellerratings.com you will find 100% of his reviews are negative. ALL reviews going back to 2016 note the voice mail box is full. (True, I checked). Further they state no merchandise is ever shipped, and there is never a response to email inquiries.
Owner name is apparently Steven Liu. Creates a post office tracking number but never ships is the M.O. Out of Ranch Santa Margarita. 92688
Amazon reviews of parts ordered there seem ok. At this point I would avoid this outfit in the future.
Regretfully I am in the process of trying to recoup some PayPal funds. His PayPal name is Turquois Inc.

Yep, they got me as well. Luckily I only ordered 2 small pieces, I'm going through the PayPal process now to get a refund.

Thanks for the warning. After seeing several warnings of this sort I have started to do a search on previously unknown to me vendors to get an impression of their reliability. If I don't get a good feeling about them I look elsewhere.
A good site to begin such a search is www.thehulltruth.com .

Unfortunately this character has multiple names, and at least two business names.
Our system has so many legal loopholes protecting and assisting these foreign gypsies they never get prosecuted. No offense to real gypsies.

I've ordered parts from Marinepartsdepot.com. Honestly, it's a crap-shoot. Generally, I receive what I ordered. The problem is that often the parts are damaged or have cosmetic issues. Returning items for replacement or refund is essentially impossible. The business doesn't answer the phone, return messages, or respond to email's. If you need something from them I'd recommend buying through their Amazon store so you at least have Amazon to back you up if there's an issue. The best recommendation i can give though is to buy what you need from Specialty Marine. Yeah, their prices are higher, but the quality is better, and there's always friendly people that answer phone calls, emails, and help with questions.

Same experience with marine part depot. Terrible. Lol, so I bought something on Amazon instead & when it arrived I realized the vendor was marine part depot. Head-slap. Luckily it was only a steering wheel knob that worked well. Twin cities marine in Minnesota is who to call for original old stock parts. Ask for Sue. I've done well with Specialty Marine too, though not everything was perfect from them they do care & will answer the phone & respond with help.
