If you don't have a manual, you can download it from the Boston Whaler Owners Resource page http://bostonwhaler.com.s3.amazonaws....l-2007.pdf As for installation, you have four choices. Add a mounting bracket - that allows the trolling unit to slide under the rail. - Add a hinge to the rail that swings open. - cut the rail between stanchions - remove the bow rail completely. Most installations of the motor bracket involve through bolting the front portion of the bracket through the lip of the bow and installing two lag screws into the backing material. Use a good marine sealant (Boat Life or Sikaflex) and not and adhesive like 4200/5200. 1992 Outrage 17 I 2019 E-TEC 90, Viper 17 2+ 2018 Load Rite Elite 18280096VT
