New Prop Advise for 2 Yamaha Outboards

I need to purchase new stainless steel props this season. Whaler and motor model/specs are as follows:
1987 Super Sport 15 w/ 2008 Yamaha 70TLR 2-stroke
1989 Outrage 18 w/ 2018 Yamaha F150XCA Inline 4-stroke
For the 70 2-stroke I was thinking either a Turbo 1 (13.25" x 19 pitch) or Laser II (13.25" x 20 pitch) using a Flo-Torq II Hub Kit #835272Q1. Looking for a prop that aims to improve top end speed w/ good hole shot.
For the 150 4-stroke, online resources and discussions seem to all point to Yamaha's Reliance model prop as the best to use with this motor. I believe 14.5" x 17 pitch is the right specs, but not 100% sure. Not focused on speed with this boat/motor setup, just best overall performance as the goal.
Any advise is greatly appreciated.

*Correction: Yamaha does not make a Reliance Prop 14.5" x 17 pitch..., the correct sizing is: 14.25" x 17 pitch. I'd either go with that or the 14.25" x 18 pitch.

For the 15 Super Sport with a Yamaha 70 2-stroke the recommendation by whaler owners is 13-1/4" x 17” Turbo 1
For the F150, start with 14.25" X 18 Yamaha Performance Series.
There are no recommendations for the Reliance model by Boston Whaler owners.
The presumption is that you mount the engine 2-3 holes UP.

Thanks for the feedback Phil. When I calculated with a 17 pitch for the 70 2-stoke it was indicating over 6000 for the rpm. I calculated with:
2.33 Gear Ratio, 42mph, 7% slip
For the F150, my understanding is the only difference between Performance Series and Reliance is the CAD design for improved consistency in production and therefore a higher cost. Any other differences?
I grew up in Edgecomb. Spend just the summers there now and is where I keep both whalers. On Oahu in Hawaii the majority of the time.
Spent most of last summer beginning the process of restoring the Outrage 18. Refinished all teak, all new cushions throughout from Tena at Anderson (added bench seat too), new Mills Canvas, the works. Can't wait to put all the finishing touches together. Should have it in the water by July 1.

We use 5% slip in the calculator.
The challenge is prop designs are so different and there is a-lot of trial and error finding the right mounting height, prop model and pitch. In many cases the setups that work best are not mainstream and often defy universal advice.
The prop recommendations come from members who have rigged their boats and documented actual performance. In some cases specific prop models did not work very well on the Whaler hull so we give model and size specific recommendations.
I am a huge fan of Tena and Suzanne. Top products.

After doing some more digging into past forum threads online I found two additional recommendations to your suggestion of using the 13.25" x 17 pitch Turbo 1. An owner with a 1989 Super Sport recommending it and Tom W Clark backing it up. Even with a 5% slip, every prop calculator I tried still recommended a 19 pitch. The 17 pitch would always show over 6000 rpm and a negative slip %. As you mentioned Phil, it seems like it mostly comes back to trial/error and owners taking the time to document. I'll be sure to document my results for both boats this summer!

I built a list of prop recommendations for the each model/engine from the performance threads over the years. Many come from veteran members and prop "guru's". For this reason I stipulate the recommendation is from whaler owners . Can't take the credit.

To make things even more difficult to decide on, my Yamaha dealer recommended PowerTech. I talked to a technician and they suggested a RED3 model with 18 pitch. Turbo 1 doesn't come in a 18 pitch..., so it would be interesting to try it out. For a small fee ($49), you can swap out a recently bought PowerTech prop if it doesn't perform as hoped (if still in "like-new" condition). If the 18 was not right I can drop to the 17 or go up to the 19. Something to consider.

When it comes to Power Tech props, Ken at Prop Gods is very knowledgeable with this brand and Boston Whaler models. I would consult with him.
He has helped many whaler owners.
