OX66 225 on 1984 22' Outrage

Member Posts: 2 Comments: 0 Joined: 03/19/12	I recently picked up a 2002 OX66 225 and am installing it on my 1984 22' Outrage center console. Has anyone else run this setup? If so what prop did you use and what was your fuel burn?

Member Posts: 61 Comments: 0 Joined: 04/05/15	I can't say that I had exactly the same setup, but I had a 2006 Etec 225 with the same 1.86:1 gear ratio on a 1987 22 OR with a T-Top. Turned 5600 rpm at 45-46 mph with a 15.5 x 17P Rebel prop, best cruise was 28-29 mph at 10 gph. Motor was mounted all the way up in the 4th hole.
