Just purchased a lightly used (143 hours) 2012 130HP ETEC for my 1993 Outrage II 19'. Would appreciate input on propeller selection and mounting height. Thanks in advance.

I can't help you with the prop, but will be interested to hear how the boat performs with that engine once you get it dialed in. Because of its weight, there aren't too many engines <150 HP that will perform well on that hull. A V-4 ETEC 130 might be one of them, though.
What engine did you previously have?

What engine did you previously have?
It was originally outfitted with a 1993 Johnson 150 and performed quite well. That was replaced with a used 2007 ETEC 175, which was a bit overpowered for the boat. The ETEC 175 is no longer dependable having logged over 2,000 hours. I picked up the 2012 ETEC 130 with only 134 hours and suspect it's performance will be similar to the Johnson 150. I'll report back when I get the new outboard mounted and sea trialed.

Thanks for the response. Looks like the Viper 14 3/4 x 18 is the choice. I'll report back with results once I get everything together and sea trialed.

Please do report back. That should be a nice relatively lightweight engine on the transom, so it will be real interesting to hear how it performs on the relatively heavy 19 Outrage II.
Do you happen to know the engine weight spec? My guess is it is similar in weight to the Suzuki DF140A (25" = 405 lbs).

Reporting back and looking for additional input on propeller selection.
Finally completed replacement of the outboard with a 2012 ETC 130 E130DPXAAA 25". Replacement included installation of transom support plates; new MWS wiring harness (replaced the old 1993 harness); new SystemCheck Tach 177107; new warning horn 176360; emptied/flushed/cleaned oil reservoir; refill oil reservoir with XD100 (motor is set for XD100); all new oil and fuel supply tubing; new fuel filter/separator.

Water test was with 60 gallons of fuel on board (82 gallon capacity), two persons (~400#), fairly calm water in Tampa Bay. Installed prop was 3-blade 15 x 17 generic stainless steel reused from old outboard. Hole shot was sluggish taking 10-12 seconds to plane, but top speed was 35 knots at 5,500 RPM.
I don't care a lot about the top speed, but would like to address the hole shot/time to get on plane and ability to stay on plane at lower speeds, while maintaining top end RPM at 5,500 to 6,000.
Thought is to address the issue with a 4-blade prop and more specifically with a Cyclone 14.5 x 17 4-blade stainless.
Comments and thoughts please!

Prop blade design is unique to each brand and model of prop. Prop sizing is not standardized so without knowing the brand and model of prop, we cant say if it is the wrong model.
You don't know if the sluggish acceleration was due to the prop's size or the blade design.
I would not extrapolate the poor acceleration to mean a 4 bladed prop is necessary.
I would raise the engine one hole and go with the 14 3/4 x 18" Viper Tom Clark recommended in the thread posted above.
The Outrage 19 II is several hundred pounds heavier than the tested Outrage 18 so I would expect ideal WOT when running light with a 130 hp motor would be ~ 38 at 5700 rpm's.

Phil T thanks for the feedback. Just ordered the Viper 14.75" x 18" P/N 763916. Will lift outboard one bolt hole and report back.

35 knots with a 130 HP V4 on a 19 Outrage II is darn good top speed already. I will be very curious to hear what it does with the raised engine and new prop.
