Tonight I just purchased a beautiful 1989 Outrage 22' Cuddy with full spashwell.
I just can't wait to get her delivered and couldn't wait to tell everyone about it.
Photos can be seen here:
http://users.sisqtel.net/jkriz/Outrag...age22.html

In my opinion the Cuddy has some of the finest lines in the Boston Whaler fleet.
Yes, the standard Outrage 22' has its nice features too, but the cuddy has other advantages also. Many of you know that I have been pursing a 1989 or 1990 Outrage 22' Cuddy...
Well, the day has arrived.
Just had to tell everyone....... Happy Holidays......

Thanks Doug...

I have been looking long and hard... If I didn't want the cuddy, I was surely looking hard at the boat you bought... I really like the 1989 to 1990 (1991) Outrage 22's with the smaller fuel tank.
The smaller fuel tank gives you the fishwell in the rear and you can still put extra external tanks under the leaning post or RPS if needed...

My intention is to trailer the boat to the Seattle area for summer use... We will see...
Hope to see you on the sound one of these days in the future...

It is always good when you can buy a boat from someone you know!

Congrats Joe. And welcome to the 22 club! What are you intentions with the 18?

MERRY CHRISTMAS!Grin

Jeff,
I plan to keep the 18' for smaller water. Can't have too many Whalers I always say.
Thanks and hope you had a very Merry Christmas too.

Mike,
I hated to see you sell her on one hand because I know how much you enjoyed her, but you know I will take good care of her too.

Congrats Joe.

I hope you do bring her up to Seattle next summer. You'll always have a mooring spot in front of my place.

Great looking boat Joe. One of my favorites.

If you get to Seattle drop me an e-mail possibly we can get together for coffee or a beer.

Dick,
I'll plan on it.
I remember you and several others always gathering at one of the pubs there in Seattle.
Sounds like fun...

Regards

Phil,

Thanks... although the payment and paper work is done, I will not pick up the boat until there is a huge break in the weather.

The boat is so clean the only thing I have planned is adding a factory fold down stern seat.

Of course I will go through everything just to make sure I know what is what.

I did not know that fold down stern seats were available. Who has them and how much do they cost? John

John,

Sorry for the confusion... They are not available.
I plan on building my own from photos and memory of the one I had in my Outrage 20' and help from other forum members.

I will be putting drawings of everything I do in the drawing section once I have finished.
I have some photos of one seat from a 25' which is similar if you are interested in viewing them.
Let me know.

Thanks for the offer Jeff.
I did take extensive photos when working on your boat.
There are several other minor variations is the stern seat that I have seen and want to get as much info as I can on this fairly rare seat.

Take Care
