Hi

I am looking for some info on the Evinrude 115 V4. Any idea where I can get a manual for this motor?

What is the top RPM?

thanks

thanks

really what I am after here is a prop recommendation.

the boat and motor came with a 13.25 - 17" 3 blade aluminum prop. Yesterday on a beautiful day on the Hudson River the tach was showing about 6200 rpm at WOT. That sounds to fast. The river was a bit choppy but not too bad. I never run it that fast for more than a few seconds. I can imagine that the motor should run in the 5000-5500 range....

The 18' Outrage moves pretty well with that prop but I have read that I should have a 13 x 19 prop.

any thoughts would be appreciated.

thanks

H

Sounds to me like you need either a higher pitch like you say, 19 or a bigger diameter. 13 seems kind of small to me. You might try a 14 1/2 or 14 3/4 X 17. I'm no expert, but I just tested a few props on mine.
If you are lucky, Tom W. Clark will give you some advice.
