My 17 has a 14X19 three blade on it. With its Johnson/Suzuki 90 four-stroke, it turns about 6400 rpm at wide open throttle. Johnson manual says it should max out around 4500-5500 rpm.
Suggestions for a better prop size? I'm probably more interested in acceleration versus top speed.

Go 4 bladed any prop calc program on the web would tell you the equivalent 4 prop for your 3 prop but watch out as your current pitch is to low indicated by your over-rpm.
I have a four blade on our Malibu ski boat now. No discernible difference, maybe just a touch smoother... Picked up a couple knots top speed, which is fairly irrelevant on a ski boat.
I'm needing a pitch recommendation; as I mentioned, the current prop is too flat (overspeeds) What props & pitch's are other folks using with a similar boat / motor setup?
