When I search online I'm seeing these part numbers: 0502178 - QL16V - MarineEngine.com When I checked West marine for these part numbers the plugs are the gapless style. I would think that gapless style would be less apt to fouling, but my local mechanic told me that for slow trolling that I would do better using a standard plug style with this engine. I have the gapless style now and they don't seem to last more than a season. This year I'm going to replace my wires as well.
Can anyone give me a part number for a good standard style spark plug for this engine. Amazon has pretty decent prices but I need a part number.
Will appreciate any info...
