150 Merc Verado, prop has play?

Member Posts: 6 Comments: 0 Joined: 05/30/17	Hi, same guy with the just bought 2013 Montauk. I noticed that the prop on the 150 Mercury Verado (Inertia with flo torque hub) actually has some for and aft as well as side to side play even though the bolt is tight. It seems from what I have read online that this is actually built into the hub but I was curious if other owners had the same experience.

Member Posts: 1926 Comments: 16 Joined: 05/02/08	It is normal. The Verado 150 uses the Flo-Torq IV hub which is designed to eliminate clutch rattle common with 4 stoke engines.
