Royce I went through all of the photos Joe uploaded. After going through them I was wondering if you could tell us a little more about the set up. Cost, time it took to do the install, Quality of parts used in the kit, how hard was it to install, any other thoughts on the install, how do they work, etc.

Looking at the pictures, to me it looks pretty straight forward.

Thanks,

Jeff,

I have talked to Royce about this and he is going to add information when he gets time. He is in the process of moving so it might be a little while.

He will include the part numbers and the steps he went through to install the system.
I will probably be adding these to my Outrage 18 trailer sometime before Spring.

Is it possible to add brakes to a trailer that doesn't have them or is it better to go buy a new trailer with brakes?

Kamie,
My trailer does not have brakes. Never did. But, the axle has a plate already on it to add the brakes. If you already have this same plate, then you can add brakes without having to modify the axle. See photo http://whalercentral.com/photogallery...?photo=677 This is the plate I am referring to. If you have this plate, you can add any type of brakes easily.

Thanks for the photo. I will look next time I am down at the boat, providing there isn't too much snow on the ground
