Member Posts: 22 Comments: 0 Joined: 07/28/07	i wonder how many people would take the mercury on the back of that new whaler if they had a choice. i think not many (surely not me). my opinion is that japanese technology is superior. cars are a perfect example. just my opinion (since you asked). i'd shop around and look for online reviews. enjoy the hunt. mike

Member Personal Page Posts: 140 Comments: 1 Joined: 08/25/07	Many of the reviews/forums mention that many of the Mercs' powerheads are Japanese mfgd and that Merc mfgs the lower extremities(???) Not very much info out yet that I have been able to find since the motors are fairly new. I think he likes the way the black motor looks on his transom. Maybe he will go a shade lighter and look at the Yamahopper 40. Thanks! Paul
