personally i think that a montauk is THE perfect whaler.I've had one for a year with a yamaha 90 hp 2-stroke and it's great.never had a problem at sea and is easy to tow.when I got it was like you looking at a bigger outrage but since then I have just fallen in love with it .I think it's the most beautiful boston made and sits so well at speed.Although the outrage is a great boat you just can't beat a montauk:)!
