I am looking for the Cutout pattern for the newer Buck Rogers style OMC Dual Binnacle control.
Here is a photo of the new style in the upper right:

If anyone has this pattern I would like a copy so I can post on this site. Or, even the size cutout would be helpful.

I want to know if there is any difference between the new size cutout of this unit as compared to the 1996 to 2007 style Dual Binnacle control.

Here is the cutout for the 1996 to 2007 style OMC Dual Binnacle Controls.
This older style takes a 5 11/16" x 4 1/4" cutout....

Anyone live close to an Evinrude/Johnson dealer that can find out this information for me?
Maybe get a photo copy of the cutout?

I don't have any dealers anywhere near me....

Thanks Roger...

Anymore information would be very helpful...

I don't even know the last two digits of the part number as they don't have it listed on their Parts Online website...

The number should be:
#50061?? - Dual lever Binnacle Control

Ok Joe, I printed out this thread and the one about gauges.

The dealer I will be going to is called Outboard Service Corp in Freeport, NY. I suspect they will have the info you are looking for.

If anyone happens to beat me to it, I won't be insulted. Wink

The dealer I am going to may not have that info anyway.

But, in any case I bet someone will come up with it soon. Grin

I went to the Evinrude dealer but he didn't have the cutout diagram. He had the same one you posted, but didn't have the new one.

He said he can get it faxed to him on Tuesday and he will fax it to me.

Here is a photo of the first boat I have seen with the new 'Buck Rogers' style BRP binnacle.

This happens to be an Outrage with the dual binnacle I am talking about.
This boat is decked out with all the gauges anyone could possible want.
2 System Check Tachs
2 Voltmeters
2 Trim Gauges
2 Hour Meters
2 Horn bezel kits (speaker grills)
1 Speedometer
The next gauges I am not exactly sure what they are but here is a guess.
2 Water Pressure Gauges
2 Water Temperature Gauges
2 Oil Level Gauges

That's a lot of gauges......

Here you go Joe,

This is the entire manual and cut out for the control. It was provided by:

Dave Zammitt of Lockeman's Hardware and Boats

Download

BTW Joe, Where are the rest of the images of that boat you saw them on. Is that the 22 with twin 150's

Thanks Jeff..

That's great.
The cutout for the newest style is just slightly larger than the older style. The older style, 1996 version, is also slightly larger than its predecessor. It seems they keep getting just a little larger.
That's better than getting smaller because if it was smaller than the older style, you would have to make some kind of filler or cover.

Thanks to Dave Zammitt of Lockeman's too.....

Yes, that is a photo of the Outrage 22' with the twin E-Tec 150's....
I can see why they used the 70 MPH version of the speedometer instead of the 50....
