Garmin 178c ext or int antenna?

Member Personal Page Posts: 735 Comments: 7 Joined: 02/15/07	I'm getting ready to order a Garmin 178c with the dual transducer. I have a choice of external or internal antenna. Does anyone have experience with this? I seem to remember someone saying internal works fine, but I thought I'd check anyway.

Member Personal Page Posts: 735 Comments: 7 Joined: 02/15/07	Thanks Jeff. It will be on top so I'll go with internal. We've got so much shallow water here I've got to get a sounder/chartplotter soon. That channels are hard to stay in when your moving and I drift fish too.
