My teak louvered console doors from Cedar Lake showed up today. I had to wait a long time, but they are beautiful. They came with the frame and all.
I'll post pics soon.

Roger if you do not mind, what was the price if you would? Ballpark is fine.

Jeff, they weren't cheap but I don't remember the price. I'll have to look it up. I think it may have been about $500 for both.

Opps, it was $168 for the horizontal and $148 for the vertical.

I think the guy put some protective oil on them that makes the grain look funny.
I am so anxious to get rid of the black replacement doors that are on my console now.

That seems like a pretty decent price. I sure would like to replace the starboard doors I have someday.

authureld, the horizontal door is the one i'm attempting to chase down the hinges. Did you locate new ones, or are you re-using the old ones. either way, could you shoot a photo to me so i can see a side view of them and see the offset. A tape next to the offsets would also be very helpful. VERY VERY nice doors!! and i think thats a great price!

Duf,
The hinges should be the same for both the smaller side door and the larger front door.
They should be Perko #271 Inset Hinge....
Here is a photo you sent me.

Duf, I will see what I have when I get home. I have the old doors with hinges on them.
When I got the boat, it had new black doors on it and the horizontal one had a long hinge that went accross the whole bottom. I certainly won't be using that one on my new door. It has about 8 screws on each side of the hinge too.

Welp, wrong again The hinge looked exactly like my perko hinge, but i went back to my drawers i had installed, and the wood looked exactly the same depth. So, what do i do? Pull the drawer, take off the hinges, and install them on the horizontal door! And lo and behold, no gap. Looked exactly alike, but if you marry them up, the 2 screw hinge part is slightly lower then the perko. Bottom line, the perko lined right up, so Art, the 271 perko's should be exactly what you need. (note to self) take any unmarked old hinges off, and trash.............

P.S. Way to go Joe

Your Cedar Lake console doors look great but just wondering, did they put the O.E.M., ogee edge on the doors or maybe these old eyes just can't pick it out in your pics?

just finished installing newly sanded and oiled doors. You'll note, the door marries up to the frame perfectly (next time i'll listen to Joe) using the Perko 271. Sorry its kinda dark outside, but i had to finish it tonight!! Pretty cool color to huh!!

I have 2 hinges just like the ones Joe posted. But, I need to buy 2 new ones because I need 4.
I'm still not sure what to do about the locks. I have the original ones, but no key. I'm sure I could have them re keyed. Anybody have suggestions about that?

I am pretty sure, with the lock number a locksmith can cut new keys for it.

I replaced my locks from the local Ace Hardware Store. I think they were six bucks each and the bonus was that they are the same key.
