How often should you change the fuel filter/water separator on an outboard? This is the screw on type not the glass bowl model. This is on an ETEC 60 and only gas flows through the filter, no oil.

Once a year on the average is good for most of us.

Unless you put on a 1000 or 2000 hrs a year... Then twice a year.
